Legislative Resource Center

  • Legislative Library, provides nonpartisan library services and resources to members of the General Assembly and their staffs, the other legislative service agencies, other government agencies, and members of the public.
  • Legislator History Information, provides an online database of past and present state legislators.  There are a number of ways to search for a legislator’s profile, including by name, district, political party, chamber served, county, and keywords.
  • LCS Publications (Archive), the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver maintains an online database of Colorado Legislative Council Publications dating back to 1954.  These publications include progress reports and final reports from interim committees, and ballot information booklets, also known as “blue books”.
  • Required Government Reports, Colorado state departments and agencies submit all reports required by state law to the Legislative Council Staff.  The Legislative Council Staff then distributes the reports to the appropriate legislative recipients, and posts them online.
