The conference committee
on House Bill 23-1101 began a lengthy discussion on the first report of
first conference committee on House Bill 23-1101. The committee discussed
a number of amendments to the report.

The committee suggested
to amend the March 19th pre-amended draft on the first report of the first
conference committee as follows:




Move Section 43-1-131(1)(c)(I) to follow 43-1-131(1)(c)(IV) and renumber
section accordingly;


Section 43-1-131(1)(c)(VII) insert "affordable" after "to";
and


Amend Section 41-1-131(2) to state "The department shall not include
any recommendation in the study report that, if adopted, would reduce the
number of rural transportation planning regions, which shall be maintained
at the maximum number specified in Section 43-1-1102(8)."
