Representative Roberts and Representative Van Winkle, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 22-1006, concerning the property tax exemption for property used as an integral part of a child care center. The bill expands an existing property tax exemption to include property that is rented or leased and used as an integral part of a childcare center. Representative Roberts provided a handout to the committee (Attachment K). The bill sponsors responded to questions from the committee.
