Representatives Singer and McKean presented Senate Bill 20-218 to the committee.  This bill creates a new fee on fuel products to fund a grant program and a takeback program for Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in the Department of Public Health and Environment and to fund the provision of technical assistance to communities.  It also provides funding for the Colorado State Patrol and the Department of Transportation to address the safety of hazardous material transportation.  Written testimony on the bill is included as Attachment A.
