Senator Priola, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 18-025 to the committee. The bill clarifies election procedures for the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, and specifies that elections in the district can be held either independently or in coordination with the county clerks and recorders of the counties included in the district.  The bill addresses the calculation of the district's share of costs if participating in a coordinated election, and it aligns various portions of the law with the Uniform Election Code and the Local Government Election Code.
