Representative Caraveo and Representative Froelich, bill sponsors, presented House Bill 19-1233 to the committee.  The bill creates a primary care payment reform collaborative in the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to make recommendations on primary care payment reform, and requires health insurance carriers to establish targets for investments in primary care.

HB19-1242 - Amended, referred to House Finance

Representative Jackson and Representative Jaquez Lewis, bill
sponsors, presented House Bill 19-1242 to the committee.  The bill
requires pharmacy technicians practicing in Colorado on or after June 15,
2020, to obtain a certification from the State Board of Pharmacy in DORA.
 In addition, the bill requires that pharmacy technicians meet continuing
education requirements before renewing a certification and details ratios
for supervision of interns and pharmacy technicians by pharmacists.  A
handout and amendment L.001 was distributed to the committee (Attachments
E and F).
