Mr. Larsen explained that the first recommendation is to continue the Nursing Home Administrators Practice Act. The second recommendation is to change the composition of the board that oversees the Nursing Home Administrators. DORA's report and the draft bill were distributed to the committee [Attachment A and B]. Attachment A 10:35:59 AM Mr. Larsen responded to committee questions. 10:41:23 AM Committee discussion ensued. 10:41:53 AM Doug Farmer, representing the Colorado Health Care Association, testified in support of continuing the Nursing Home Administrators Practice Act, but against DORA's second recommendation to changing the make-up of the board.
