Representative Kraft-Tharp explained that the bill clarifies that students who are enrolled in a graduate school to obtain a mental health degree are not required to register in the psychotherapists database. The bill also requires the Department of Regulatory Agencies to change the type of transcripts required for a student or recent graduate to apply for licensure.
