Beginning September 1, 2018, the bill requires that the Private Occupational School Board (the board) of the Division of Private Occupational Schools (DPOS) in the Department of Higher Education conduct a sunrise review of new educational credentials or services to determine whether these should be regulated. The board's sunrise review process must apply to an application for a certificate of approval for a new educational credential or service for which the DPOS has not considered an application prior to July 2018. The bill requires seniors to provide the county assessor a physician's certification on a form designed by the Division of Property Taxation.
