Rep. Foote returned to discuss HB 18-1289.  The bill was previously heard on March 14, 2018.  

Reps. Ardnt and Hansen asked the committee to postpone House Bill 18-1345 indefinitely.

Reps. Foote and Weissman introduced House Bill 18-1406. The bill prohibits the Department of Revenue from denying or cancelling a driver license when an applicant or license holder has an outstanding judgment or warrant issued for failure to pay a penalty or appear at a post-sentencing court appearance, or failure to pay a public transportation fare. Rep. Weissman distributed a fiscal note memorandum [Attachment C], a handout [Attachment D], a graph [Attachment E], amendment L.003 [Attachment F], and amendment L.004 [Attachment G]. The sponsors answered several committee questions.
