Kyle Rojas Legleiter,
Senior Director of Policy, Colorado Health Foundation, presented on the
results of the Pulse Survey conducted by the Colorado Health Foundation.
 The presentation may be found in Attachment A.



Mr. Legleiter stated that the rising cost of living and housing were two
of the biggest issues facing Coloradans.  He also discussed specific
challenges facing various demographics in Colorado, the rate at which Coloradans
are postponing medial and dental care and concerns about health insurance
coverage.

Survey Manager, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, presented
on the Healthy Kids Survey by the Colorado Department of Public Health
and Environment.  The presentation can be found  in Attachment
B.



Ms. Fine discussed the method for conducting the survey, topics covered,
and mental health and substance use trends among Colorado youth.

Division of Disease Control and Public Health Response, Colorado Department
of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE); Dr. Rachel Herlihy, State Epidemiologist,
CDPHE; Dr. Emily Travanty, State Laboratory, Director, CDPHE; and Diana
Herrero, Deputy Director of the Division of Disease Control and Public
Health Response, CDPHE, presented to the committee on monkeypox cases in
Colorado.  The presentation can be found in Attachment C.




The panel discussed the demographics of Coloradans impacted by monkeypox,
testing procedures and capacity, symptoms of monkeypox, CDPHE's immunization
strategy, and community education efforts.

Chief Executive Officer, Lincoln Hospital, presented on issues facing rural
health care facilities.  The presentation can be found  in Attachment
E.



Mr. Kevin Stanbsury discussed limited service access in rural areas, rising
costs, access to facilities, and regulatory challenges.
