Jani, and Larry Hofer with Legislative Information Services (LIS) gave
a presentation (Attachment A). The presentation gave an overview of the
legislature's email. The presentation included information on the email
enterprise system and the impact of changing to an email enterprise system.

Dave Bell with Proof
Point continued the presentation with information on email fraud, authentication
and content inspection, invoicing fraud, and malicious emails.

The LIS staff continued
the presentation with options presented to the executive committee on options
for the future of the legislative email system. LIS answered questions
from the committee on current issues with email. The presentation continued
with information on the approach, insights given by Gartner on options
for email, what other states use for email, and other considerations.

Tobin Follenweider and Sarah Clark with the Department of Personnel Administration gave a presentation on the updates for the Payroll Modernization project (Attachment B). The presentation gave information on project goals, background of the project, scope, and timeline. The committee asked how DPA throught the progress of the project is going.

continued with information on the project's agile team, payroll data as
a product and data scenario mapping. The committee asked about the priority
of data automation for the system. The presentation continued with information
on the payroll data catalog and a presentation of the data catalog. The
committee asked about data and the cloud, data security, redundancy, and
vendor security.
