Natalie Castle, Director
of Legislative Council Staff, came to the table to present the Legislative
Council Staff (LCS) budget request, which can be found as Attachment A.
She reviewed the roles and responsibilities of LCS, as well as several
portions of the LCS budget request.

Director Castle continued
to explain specific portions of the LCS budget request, as well as the
requested increases in the information technology (IT) operating and personnel
budget requests. She discussed the Americans with Disabilities Act
(ACA)acessibility audit and the request for additional full-time employees
for the IT section.

Director Castle answered questions from the committee on the LCS budget request.

Manish Jani, Deputy Director of Legislative Council Staff, came to the table to answer questions from the committee on the ADA accessibility audit funding request within the LCS IT budget request. Committee members made comments.
