Senator Tate introduced Senate Bill 17-298, concerning the relationship between a motor vehicle manufacturer and the motor vehicle dealers that have franchise agreements with the manufacturer. The bill makes changes to state law concerning franchise agreements between motor vehicle manufacturers and motor vehicle dealers. Specifically, it increases the protections available for dealerships and specifies the nature and venue for civil actions between dealerships and manufacturers. He handed out amendments L.010, .013, .015, .016, .017, .018, and .019 (Attachments C through I).
