Senator Williams, prime sponsor, introduced
Senate Bill 19-135, concerning a state procurement disparity study. The
bill requires the Department of Personnel and Administration to commission
an independent disparity study of the state procurement process involving
certain historically underutilized businesses. The study report will
include recommendations to address any disparities that are found.
