Senator Woods, co-prime sponsor, presented House Bill 16-1267. The reengrossed bill creates the Colorado Veterans' Service-to-Career Pilot Program in the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE). Through CDLE and in partnership with nonprofit agencies, workforce centers throughout the state may apply for grants to develop and expand career services for veterans, spouses, and eligible participants. Eligible participants include a veteran's dependent child under age 27 and a veteran's care giver over age 18.
