Senators Todd and Martinez Humenik presented House Bill 18-1360 to the committee, along with Amendment L.003 [Attachment A]. This bill expands the membership of the Board of Directors of the State Historical Society from 9 members to 13 members. The new members are to be appointed to staggered terms after October 1, 2018. The Governor may appoint no more than 7 members from the same major or minor political party.
