to the House Health and Human Services Committee. The bill creates the
Stable Housing for Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence Program in
the Department of Human Services (CDHS). By January 1, 2025, the CDHS is
required to contract with community-based organizations to distribute short-term
assistance payments to survivors of abuse for stable housing. Recipients
must also be eligible for assistance provided by the Colorado Works Program.
