Dan Gibbs of the Department of Natural Resources and Dan Prenzlow of Colorado Parks and Wildlife presented the appointments to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission.

Duke Phillips IV, introduced himself to the committee.

James Jay Tutchton introduced himself to the committee.

Dallas May introduced himself to the committee.

Mr. Tutchton responded to questions regarding representing certain clients through his law practice, and certain positions he has taken in the past. Discussion ensued regarding whether Mr. Tutchton meets the qualifications of the appointment. Mr. Tutchton responded to questions regarding his position on the reintroduction of wolves into Colorado, and his ability to hear concerns from rural areas. Discussion followed regarding geological diversity on boards and commissions. Director Prenzlow responded to questions regarding the requirements for entering certain state lands. Mr. Tutchton responded to questions regarding his entry onto certain public lands. Director Prenzlow explained changes in regulation that require nonconsumptive users to purchase passes to enter a state wildlife area.
