Brian Tobias, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), provided an overview of the sunset review process to the committee. DORA's sunset review report regarding the Board of Chiropractic Examiners was distributed to committee members, and is available online here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ezlt0FhRVnrlapRRNY41idrmjc_P2ajC/view.  Draft bill LLS no. 20-0525.01 regarding the Board of Chiropractic Examiners was distributed to committee members (Attachment A).

Jennifer Lockwood, DORA, presented on the sunset review report for the Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  She gave an overview of the chiropractic program and licensing.  Ms. Lockwood described eight DORA recommendations regarding the Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Ms. Lockwood responded to committee questions regarding the DORA recommendations.

Kristin Forrestal, Office of Legislative Legal Services (OLLS), summarized draft bill LLS no. 20-0525.01. She explained the options of the committee regarding the draft bill.

Dr. Rachel Wendt, Colorado Chiropractic Association, testified in support of the DORA recommendations and the draft bill.
