Representative Hooton, bill sponsor, presented House Bill 18-1145.  The bill repeals the following provisions concerning petition circulators that were declared unconstitutional and permanently enjoined from enforcement:

 

    •    that petition circulators must be residents of Colorado; and

    •    that petition circulators cannot be paid more than 20 percent of their total compensation on a per signature basis.

 

Representative Hooton explained amendment L.001 [Attachment C].
