bill, Representatives Kipp and Joseph, gave an overview of House Bill 23-1134
Require Electric Options in Home Warranties. The bill requires a home warranty
service contract to include terms allowing a homeowner to replace any of
certain gas-fueled devices with a device that operates on electricity.
The sponsors gave the committee a handout for the bill (Attachment A).
