Gas Emission Reduction Measures. The bill creates a state income tax credit
for new, electric-powered lawn equipment; requires the Public Employees'
Retirement Association and insurance companies to study climate risks to
their investment portfolios; authorizes the Department of Natural Resources
to regulate Class VI injection wells; updates the state's greenhouse gas
emissions reduction goals; and commissions a study on electric transmission
capacity.
