SENATE COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION
Date Feb 6, 2018

SB18-102 - Amended, referred to the Committee of the Whole - Consent Calendar

02:00:30 PM

Senators Zenzinger and Tate, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 18-102. Under current law, when a motor vehicle is being titled or registered, the verification of a motor vehicle's identification number (VIN) requires an odometer reading. This bill, recommended by the Statutory Revision Committee, repeals the requirement for an odometer reading during VIN verification.
