The committee came back to order. Senators Gonzales and Majority Leader Rodriguez introduced House Bill 25-1209. The bill makes several changes to the regulation of marijuana businesses. Senator Gonzales discussed several potential amendments.  

Chief Brent Newbanks, representing the Colorado Association of the Chiefs of Police, testified in opposition to the bill. Jarell Wall, representing Gentleman Quinns LLC, testified to amend the bill.

Jordan Wellington, representing Colorado Leads, testified in support of the bill. Charles Smith, representing Colorado Leads, testified in support of the bill. Dominique Mendiola, representing the Colorado Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division, testified in a neutral position on the bill. Allison Robinette, representing the Colorado Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division, testified in a neutral position on the bill. Kevin Gallagher, representing Apothecary Farms, testified in support of the bill.

The witnesses answered several committee questions.

Kam Snyder, representing themself, testified in opposition to the bill. Gabby Ridenhour, representing themself, testified in opposition to the bill.
