Representative Lebsock, sponsor, presented House Bill 18-1133, concerning registration for marijuana fibrous waste recycling facilities. Representative Lebsock distributed Amendment L.001 [Attachment A], which strikes everything below the enacting clause. He also distributed a letter in support of the bill [Attachment B]. The introduced bill creates a registration for a fibrous waste recycling facility in the medical and retail marijuana codes.

HB18-1139 - Referred to the Committee of the Whole

Representative Hooton presented House Bill 18-1139, concerning the removal of outdated statutory references to repealed reporting requirements that were previously imposed on the Parks and Wildlife Commission.  The bill, recommended by the Statutory Revision Committee, removes obsolete references to the repealed section and replaces them with references to the Parks and Wildlife Commission's rules.

The committee members received copies of the report and the Draft Bill containing DORA's recommendations [Attachment E]. DORA recommends that the council be continued indefinitely.

Saul Larsen, DORA, discussed the Sunset review of the Custom Processing of Meat Animals Act. The report can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1eD7wvZltwxQ19YZlEyb2hNTWM/view. The committee received copies of the report and the draft bill containing DORA's recommendations [Attachment F]. DORA is recommending that the Act be extended 13 years and that poultry be included in the act.
