Representative Herod and Representative Pelton, bill sponsors, presented House Bill 19-1193 to the committee.  The bill increases access to substance use disorder treatment and support for pregnant women and new mothers.  The bill creates the Child Care Services and Substance Use Disorder Treatment Pilot Program in the Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide child care services to children of women engaged in substance use disorder treatment.
