The bill continues the regulation of psychiatric technicians by the State Board of Nursing in the Department of Regulatory Agencies, which is scheduled to repeal on July 1, 2019. The "2018 Sunset Review: The Licensing and Regulation of Psychiatric Technicians" report was distributed to the committee (Attachment D). Representative Sirota referenced a handout that she provided to the committee members prior to the meeting.
