Representative Velasco and Representative Garcia, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 25-1244, concerning requiring community-based organizations that are recipients of the Statewide Welcome, Reception, and Integration Grant Program to prioritize migrants who have arrived in the United States within the past three years. The bill expands the eligibility of migrants receiving services through the Statewide Welcome, Reception, and Integration Grant Program. The bill sponsors responded to questions from the committee members.
