Paul Shamon, representing
himself, discussed the proposed General Maurice Rose Statue, including
the location, design, and materials. Mr. Shamon introduced his colleagues
in the project: Marshall Fogel and George Lundeen, the artist who will
develop the sculpture. The committee received the request for a memorial
prior to the meeting (Attachment A).

Committee member
Rick Lee explained requirements related to the Americans with Disabilities
Act, design of landscape, support of the statue, and design of the walkway
around the statue. Mr. Lee also offered to meet with the sculptor
to talk about design and architecture.
