Senator Sonnenberg announced that the confirmations for the reappointment of Richard Alward, Thomas Compton, and Andrew Lawrence Spielman to Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) would be considered in absentia.

Matt Lepore, Executive Director of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) introduced the Governor's appointments to the COGCC and discussed the role of the commission

Benton of Littleton, reappointed for a term expiring July 1, 2019, to serve as a member with substantial experience in the oil and gas industry and with a college degree in petroleum geology or petroleum engineering, and as a Republican, discussed his experience and interest in serving another term on the COGCC (Attachment A).
