Senator Hill, chair, called the meeting to order. He invited the representatives from CollegeInvest to come to the table. Mike Blake, Chief Marketing Officer of CollegeInvest, came to the table to introduce the reappointee to the board, Jason Maples. Copies of the Governor's appointment letter and the reappointee's application and resume were distributed to the committee (Attachment A). Mr. Maples talked about his background and his previous board service, and about why he would like to be reappointed to the board. He answered questions from the committee.
