Senator Neville and Senator Jahn, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 17-033. The bill, recommended by the Legislative Audit Committee, makes the use of child protection teams optional for all counties, regardless of the number of referrals received by the county. It also makes conforming amendments in statute to reflect the optional nature of child protection teams. Senator Neville distributed amendment L.001 (Attachment C) and a handout (Attachment D).
