Senator Marble, chair, called the meeting to order and roll call was taken. She invited Aubrey Elenis, Director of the Colorado Civil Rights Division, to come to the table to introduce the appointee and reappointee to the commission: Jessica Pocock and Miguel "Michael" Elias. Copies of the Governor's appointment letter and the appointees' applications and resumes were distributed to the committee (Attachment A). Ms. Elenis provided background information about the commission. Mr. Elias introduced himself to the committee and spoke about his background and about why he would like to be reappointed to the commission. Ms. Pocock spoke about her background and about why she would like to serve on the commission. The appointee and reappointee answered questions from the committee.
