Trisha Oeth, representing the Air Quality Control Commission, introduced Elise Jones and Jana Milford, both of whom are candidates for appointment to the commission. Both women explained why they are interested in serving. They discussed their personal and professional backgrounds. They responded to questions from the committee about the causes of air pollution in Colorado.  The committee was provided with information about all three conferees (Attachment A).

Senator Lundeen, prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 19-101. The bill creates new evaluation and reporting requirements for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the High Performance Transportation Enterprise when considering the construction of a managed lane on a state highway. He provided a picture and a set of charts (Attachments B and C). Written testimony from the El Paso County Board of Commissioners was also distributed (Attachment D). He responded to questions from the committee.
