Representatives Landgraf and Exum, co-prime
bill sponsors, presented House Bill 19-1279 and distributed three handouts
(Attachments B, C, and D).  This bill prohibits the use of class B
firefighting foam that contains intentionally added perfluoroalkyl and
polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances for training purposes and includes civil
penalties.  It also requires the Department of Public Health and Environment
(CDPHE) to survey fire departments about issues related to PFAS foam.
