Chair, called the meeting to order and summarized the committee discussion
from the previous Executive Committee meeting. She explained that the committee
would continue to discuss aide compensation. Natalie Castle, Director,
Legislative Council Staff (LCS), answered questions regarding common compensation
policies for legislators.

and Christy Chase, Deputy Director, Office of Legislative Legal Services
(OLLS), presented the budget request for OLLS. Director DeCecco explained
that the Committee on Legal Services approved the budget request. He reviewed
several portions of the request.

reviewed the budget request for the Office of Legislative Workplace Relations.

Auditor, presented the budget request for the Office of the State Auditor.
She told the committee that the Legislative Audit Committee approved the
budget request unanimously and answered questions from the committee.

Attachment A.

Craig Harper, Director, Joint Budget Committee (JBC), presented the budget request for the JBC Staff. He stated that the Joint Budget Committee approved the request.

Deputy Director, Legislative Council Staff, discussed an Executive Committee
policy for limited language interpretation services during the 2024 legislative
session. She answered questions from the committee. Majority Leader Duran
stated that there would be a bi-partisan advisory board convened to discuss
language access and future needs.
