Ms. Strong introduced herself and described her background in workers' compensation and risk management. Mr. Herrmann introduced himself and spoke about his interest in serving on the board. Committee members made comments to the appointees.

The committee heard testimony from interested persons at that time. She provided amendment L.001 (Attachment B) to the committee and discussed the purpose of the amendment.

Senator Roberts introduced Senate Bill 16-126, concerning state bank meeting frequency. Under current law, the board of directors for a state bank is required to meet monthly. This bill requires those meetings to be held at least quarterly unless the board specifies a different schedule. She provided amendment L.001 (Attachment D) to the committee and discussed the purpose of the amendment.
