only.  The bill concerns opportunities for youth involvement in the
review of the state's education standards.  Senator Moreno provided
an overview of the bill and distributed amendments L.001 and L.002 (Attachments
A and B).  He explained the amendments.

concerns funding for special education services.  The bill was recommended
by the Legislative Interim Committee on School Finance.  Senator Zenzinger
provided background information on special education funding in Colorado
and explained the changes made by the bill.
