	01:37:22 PM	The Joint Budget Committee (JBC) introduced themselves and explained Joint Rule 25 (d), which requires the JBC to meet with committees of reference in the first 30 days of the legislative session. Representative McCluskie, JBC chair, briefly explained the budget process. She directed the committee to the FY 2022-23 Staff Budget Briefing Summary and discussed the Governor's FY 2022-23 budget request.
	01:44:45 PM	Representative McCluskie spoke about funding for the Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA). She responded to questions from the committee about PERA. She suggested the committee look at two documents, the JBC staff briefing related to PERA and PERA's presentation to the JBC. She indicated that the JBC has not made any final decisions regarding PERA distributions. Other members of the JBC also commented.

	02:00:04 PM	Committee discussion about PERA continued.
	02:07:43 PM	Representative Ransom turned to a discussion of the budget requests for the Department of Revenue. Members of the JBC responded to questions from the committee about the budget request.
	02:19:11 PM	Committee discussion of the Department of Revenue continued. The discussion then moved to the budget request from the Department of Treasury.
	02:27:51 PM	The committee had a discussion of the valuation of property in the Marshall fire area. Representative McCluskie wrapped up the JBC's presentation and thanked their staff.
