introduced himself, and described his background in healthcare and discussed
his reasons for wanting to serve on the enterprise. Mr. Young answered

sponsor, presented on House Bill 22-1041, which requires any protected
person to submit their name and home address when requesting that a government
official remove personal information from records on the internet, and
adds to the definition of protected person. The bill also specifies that
these protections for protected people do not prohibit access to records
by county officials or certain other individuals if the access is related
to a real estate matter.

HB22-1035 - Amended, referred to the Committee of the Whole - Consent Calendar

Senator Ginal and
Senator Rankin, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 22-1035, which
restructures and adds two additional members to the Colorado Commission
on Aging, appointed by the Governor. In making these changes, it also specifies
various criteria for members appointed to the board, establishes initial
terms of services for members appointed after the bill's passage, and limits
members to serving no more than two consecutive full terms. The commission
is authorized to contract independent staff and to seek, accept, and expend
gifts, grants, and donations. In addition, the bill establishes a liaison
in the Department of Human Services to work with the commission and creates
a Technical Advisory Committee composed of representatives from multiple
estate agencies to support the commission's work. Finally, the bill creates
the Lifelong Colorado Initiative to support policy evaluation, data and
metrics creation, and a reporting mechanism.
