Amanda Clapham, Legislative Council Staff, introduced her presentation regarding a proposed companion piece to the Women's Gold Tapestry.

Deanne Gertner and Castle Searcy, Hey Hue Art, and Emily Sturm Ehrens, Sturm Family Foundation, introduced their presentation. Ms. Gertner spoke about the goals of a new Colorado 150 tapestry that would be hung near the existing Women's Gold Tapestry. Ms. Sturm spoke about the donation of funding from her foundation. Ms. Searcy spoke about the placement of the new tapestry.

The panelists responded to questions about the size of the new tapestry.

The panelists continued their presentation by discussing the process for selecting the artist and the final concept. They responded to questions about selecting the artists, future maintenance of the display, and placement of the tapestry. Ms. Chapman discussed the role of the committee at this stage in the proposal of the tapestry.
