Brigadier General Clellan introduced the Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) staff and presented on behalf of the department (Attachment A).  She discussed the mission and vision of the department, the organizational chart, performance management, and goals.

outlined how the department will accomplish its goals.

General Clellan and Mr. Callahan continued the presentation on how the department will accomplish its goals and responded to committee questions.

General Clellan and her team discussed the department's budget requests for FY 2021-2022 and answered committee questions.

General Clellan outlined
the department's legislative agenda, as well as equity, diversity, and
inclusion matters.  She also addressed the department's remote work
measures, pandemic responses, wildfire and cybersecurity responses, presidential
inauguration support, search and rescue missions.

Mr. Callahan and other department staff continued the presentation. They discussed STEM training and veteran support, and took questions from the committee.
