This bill modifies the list of allowable documents used for voter identification to remove non-photo identification, and require that any identification shown for voter verification purposes contains a photo of the eligible voter. The bill also clarifies that certain persons eligible for a free state-issued identification card under current law may receive one and use it for voting purposes.
