Senator Williams explained the bill and discussed its need. She responded to a question concerning the availability of information covered by the bill.

Mr. Jeremy Shaver, representing the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), testified in support of the bill. Mr. Shaver discussed the ADL's work on issues concerning hate crimes, and provided information on hate crimes, generally. He discussed the benefits of HB 17-1138.
