Submitting to the registered electors of the state of Colorado an amendment to the Colorado constitution concerning a prohibition on a person being a state legislator for a term of office immediately following the unexpired term for which the person was appointed to fill a vacancy in the same district.

Bill Summary:

     If approved by at least 55% of the voters of the state voting on the issue at the 2026 general election, the concurrent resolution amends the Colorado constitution to prohibit a person from being a state representative or senator for a term of office that immediately follows a term for which the person was appointed to fill a vacancy in the general assembly for that office.
