Representatives Gray and Will, co-prime sponsors, introduced Senate Bill 22-065 concerning the status of elected county coroners in class II, III, and IV counties.  Effective January 1, 2023, the bill increases the salaries of newly elected or reelected category II county coroners to match the salary of category II county treasurers and full time category III and IV county coronors to match to salary of the county treasurer.  In addition, the bill allows part-time work for category II coronors and full time for category III and IV counties.
