Representative Valdez A., prime sponsor, introduced House Bill 22-1254 concerning the registration of vehicles within 90 days once an owner becomes a resident of Colorado.  According to the bill the the new resident owner of the vehicle will pay back taxes and fees to the date that he or she became a resident of the state.  The bill also lowers the registration fee for vehicles based on age, as well as the road and bridge fee.
