Representatives Bird and McKean, co-prime sponsors, introduced Senate Bill 21-262 concerning transparency for special districts.  The bill changes publication notices related to a call for nominations for local government elections, requirements related to websites, and information included in annual reports.  In addition the bill changes requirements for payments related to contracts with private companies, eminent domain, and financial information about a metropolitan district to buyers of property within the district.
