Representative Clifford,
prime bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 25-172, concerning clarification
of the conditions under which an uncontested election in a special district
director district may be canceled. The bill allows special districts to
cancel uncontested elections for district director when that is the only
question on the ballot. Representative Clifford responded to questions
from the committee and distributed a handout (Attachment A). |
